Dyna DuMore here. I’m a bra fit expert with a Web site called X-chrom.com. We’ve been fitting folks into the right bra style for over 6 years now. And many women purchase sports bras without knowing that they aren't fitted properly, or that they could have bought a sports bra that is more tailored to their specific needs!

The Enell Sports Bra was designed by Renelle Braaten out of personal need in 1993. She was tired of “double-bagging” it (wearing two bras at once) and asked her Mom to sew the first prototype.

The Enell sports bra has built a reputation for its ability to support or provide excellent RVM®(restricted vertical movement). But, don’t count on it for looks.

The Enell sports bra is a total squisher, so much so, a D bra cup could look like a B bra cup in the Enell. And, its untraditional design of eye-hooks up the front that put on like a vest lends it to pet names like the “Iron Maiden” and “Booby Trap”.


It’s also not for every body given its sizing scheme. In general, the Enell sports bra fits 32C-52DD. But, within that range, some sizes don’t fit exactly right into one size. For example, 32DD’s tend to have a tough time getting a great fit from the Enell sports bra because a 32 band normally fits into a size 00 Enell, but the size 00 Enell doesn’t really accommodate a DD cup as best as it should.

Other positive sidenotes? You’ll get exceptional durability.

Their negative sidenotes? It’s pretty insulating given its fabrication. In a workout, it’s easy to build up a sweat in the Enell sports bras. But, perhaps that’s a good thing after all.
